In October 2023, a significant milestone was achieved at the "Belt and Road Forum" in Beijing: Serbian Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade, Tomislav Momirović, and Chinese Minister of Commerce, Wang Wentao, signed a free trade agreement that came into effect on July 1, 2024.
Thanks to the joint efforts of both parties, businesses in China and Serbia have gained new avenues for growth on the international stage!
Easier access to a market of over 1.3 billion people puts Serbian businesses in a more advantageous and competitive position, leading to a significant increase in exports and expansion of the country’s investment and production capacities.
Certificate of Origin issued by the Serbian Customs now replaces the EUR 1 certificate, greatly simplifying export and import processes. This step opens up tremendous opportunities for expanding the natural cosmetics market and increasing our reach in China! At AlHerboLab, we have already shipped the first batch of our natural cosmetics, ECOLATIER and ORGANIC MIMI, to China under a new agreement for online store sales.
